Bungalow Courtyard

After eight years of meticulous design and planting, a dedicated restorer has pronounced her courtyard and garden ready for the camera. In California?s A&C community, everybody knows Charlene and her practically perfect little bungalow in Marin. There's inspiration here in the hardscape-brick and salvaged tile, picket fence and pergola-arbor, tiled fountain and redwood stairs-as well as in her specimen plantings, sense of color, and artisan details, beautifully integrated. All this in a 15 x 25-foot courtyard behind a one-storey bungalow!
